Information

Baptism can either be celebrated during a Sunday Mass, or after either the 4 pm or 7 am Mass on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Only practicing Catholics can be a godparent, and there must be at least one Catholic godparent; a non-Catholic Christian can be a "Christian witness." Parents and godparents must attend a baptismal preparation program in order to understand the gravity of the commitment they make by having a child baptized, or becoming a sponsor. This can be done well in advance.

• To celebrate the baptism in another Catholic parish, permission of the pastor must be sought: Fr. Martin Fox, (937) 773-1656 or pastor@piquaparishes.org.
